Norfolk After School
Course Descriptions Registration Form The Norfolk After School Program is an enrichment program developed and organized by the Botelle Elementary School Parent/Teacher Organization. Our objective is to provide students with interesting, educational, and creative after-school activities at an affordable price. Registration Information and General Policies Registration Dates: TBA, There is only one extended winter session of afterschool programs planned for this year. Location: Place all applications and attached checks in the box labeled “Norfolk After School Program Registration” located outside the Botelle School Office. Details: Review the class description materials with your child. Enter the name of the class you choose and the day the class is offered. Please select a second choice for each desired class (just in case the first choice is fully subscribed or cancelled due to lack of enrollment). You can register for up to four classes per child. Please fill in all parts of the registration form. Payment information:
Enrollment: Enrollment is on a 1st come - 1st served basis. Classes have minimum and maximum enrollments. In the event of a cancelled or filled class, you will be notified and your payment refunded. We will also contact you if your child has been moved to his/her “second choice” class. If you do not hear from us, assume your child is enrolled in the requested class(es). A final list of courses and participants will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Botelle office by September 30. Refunds : Refunds or class switching are available up to and during the first week of classes. Refunds or class switching after the first week of classes will not be allowed. There will be no refunds for student absences. Pick-up/Dismissal:
Behavior: If a student is disruptive in class, parents will be notified. A second notification will result in dismissal from the class without a refund. Absences: Please provide a written note to the Botelle office or call the school office if your child will not be attending an after school class. If we do not receive notice, we will call you if your child was present in school but is absent from the after-school program. Cancelled classes: If a class is cancelled due to Instructor illness or inclement weather, you will be notified. A make-up class will be scheduled. Snacks: Snacks will be provided by the program. If your child has special dietary needs, you should send a snack in with your child to have during the after school class. Please inform us if your child has any severe allergy.
