NON DISCRIMINATION POLICY 

The Norfolk Board of Education has adopted a Non Discrimination Policy which prohibits discrimination in education on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, age, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, ancestry, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression or any other basis prohibited by law.

This policy also covers employment practices, and school programs, curriculum, class assignments or educational opportunities for students. We are committed to not using materials, library books or textbooks that may perpetuate prejudice, intolerance or negative feelings to minority groups.
